Must be Saturday?

must be saturday

When we planning a wedding, Saturday will be their first choice. For the far away guest, it will give enough time for recovery after hours of dancing and drinking. We also need to think about the budget, have you ever thought to hold your nuptials and reception on a Sunday? Think about it. You aren’t the only couple getting married and how many of them want to get married on a Saturday? so along with popularity, the prices will follow accordingly.

If your budget doesn’t allow for splurging on $200 per person on a Saturday, inquire about the next day price. The price most likely will significantly drop if not by half or more, just by a 24-hour difference. Before you decide on a venue, shop around and see who can offer you the best deal not only on Saturday but Sunday as well.

This goes the same for your entertainment. A band or a DJ that is in high demand will demand a higher salary on a Saturday. There will be a huge price discrepancy if you book for almost any other day of the week. When you are getting price quotes, inquire about their rates on a Sunday. This will give you an idea of what costs you can save on.

If you plan on doing a theme like a garden party, this can easily be moved to a Sunday afternoon. This kind of party would most likely end in the early evening, so paying top dollar for a Saturday event could be wasteful.

If you are hosting guests from out of town this would not be the most convenient for them, they would have to take off from work and arrange their whole schedules around it. So some advice would be throwing your wedding on a holiday like the 4th of July, if it falls on weekday, most would have off from work anyway and venues would be slow at this time because most celebrate these holidays at home.
