How to find out the most suitable dress for your wedding
The preparation for the wedding can be a long and complicated process sometimes. With great passion, I finished the holding of an official party, sending out the inviting cards. The next part for me can be selecting a perfect dress for my wedding because it is very important and urgent.
For this part, at first, I am a little over confident. I think that I just need to wear my perfect dress to make me looks like at a young age on my wedding day, just as many other girls think. But Katie can be an exception. She seems to a different type, which can beat up boys for their lunch money back in the day.
As far as I am concerned, I planned to walk out in a big ball gown, with layers upon layers of ruffles and big puffy sleeves, just like Princess Diana. On the other hand, Kate Middleton changed the look for princesses last year when she stepped out in her lacy dress, possibly inspired by the timeless styling of Princess Grace.
Making a decision
Asking help and advice from my colleges in the office can be a good idea. And they all agree that: “Your dress should be a reflection of your personality…like Sue in the TV show Glee!” It came to me suddenly.
You may ask who is Sue Sylvester? Sue Sylvester is a role of the TV show Glee, who is never seen in anything but Adidas sweats. It was a little odd in some way, but absolutely perfect for her to wear an Adidas wedding dress when she married herself, in one of the show's most popular episodes "Furt." Because the personality cares.
Looking around the office, all the girl various greatly in their personalities. It is unique for everyone. The perfect dresses for them are decided by their personalities and can be a reflection of these.
For example, our fashion leader, Anna K would definitely walk out in the latest “it” looks for brides. She’d have a string quartet playing Canon in D, with her guests sitting on white couches. Over the top, in my opinion, but very Anna.
And what is more, for our in-house master of all things spreadsheets and DIY projects, Natalie T. would have a dress made of handpicked silks. She may design and make all her bouquets, invites and possibly her own cake carefully by himself and this can be the perfect decision.
Katie L. would make a grand entrance in a short and daring gown, topped with a Yankee’s cap. She’d shuffle down the aisle to the song in a hilarious rendition Ricky Martin's Glee version of 'Sexy and I know it.'
As for me...I’m the girly girl, with the Hello Kitty toys on my desk and lots of bling on my phone. I love high heels, pretty nail polish and all things floral. Of course, I can't very well wear a Hello Kitty dress...no, my mother and grandmother would each get ten new wrinkles just from frowning in disapproval with my choice.
There are about 10 mouths left for me to find out the best dress of the wedding. And it must be appreciated by my mother because she insist that the dress must be bridal-acceptable. Although I am not that brave compared to Sue Sylvester', wearing Adidas dress. But I will do my best to find out the unique one.
